These terms apply to every eSIM bought on this site. By buying or installing an eSIM here you agree to them. Read them together with the details shown for the plan you choose — its data, validity, coverage and activation — which form part of what you buy.
1. Who you are dealing with
SimWindy sells prepaid mobile data plans delivered as eSIMs. The connection itself is provided by the mobile networks in each destination through our connectivity partners; we sell the plan, take the payment and deliver your eSIM. Our contact details are at the foot of every page and at support@simwindy.com.
2. Your phone
An eSIM only works on a device that supports eSIM and is not locked to a single carrier. Please check your model on our compatible devices page before you buy. A plan bought for a device that cannot use it is not a fault of the plan, and it cannot be refunded once the eSIM has been installed.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in the currency you choose on this site. Your card or wallet may be charged in the store's own currency, which is shown at checkout before you pay. Your order is confirmed when your payment succeeds and your eSIM is issued.
4. Delivery and installation
Your eSIM is delivered as a QR code and manual installation details, by e-mail and on your account's My eSIMs page. Keep the QR code private: anyone who installs it uses your plan. Some phones allow an eSIM to be installed only once, so do not delete it after installing unless you mean to.
5. Validity and use
Each plan's validity period starts as described on the plan — on installation or when it first connects in its destination — and ends when the period runs out or the data is used up, whichever comes first. Unused data does not carry over. Most plans are data only, with no phone number, unless the plan says otherwise. Speeds and coverage depend on the local networks and can vary by place and time.
6. Refunds
If we cannot deliver your eSIM after you have paid, you are refunded in full. An eSIM that has been installed or activated cannot be refunded. If an installed eSIM does not connect in its destination, contact us within its validity period and we will work with our network partners to fix it or, where it cannot be fixed, refund you. Refunds go back to the method you paid with.
7. Fair use
Plans are for personal use by travellers. Using a plan for unlawful activity, reselling it, or running it in equipment other than a phone, tablet or similar device may lead to the network suspending it without a refund.
8. Your account
Keep the e-mail address you sign in with secure; anyone with access to it can see your eSIMs, including their QR codes.
9. Our responsibility
We take care to show accurate plan details, but coverage, speeds and network availability are controlled by the mobile networks and can change. We are not liable for losses caused by a network outage, a device that does not support eSIM, or other events outside our control, or for indirect losses.
10. Complaints and law
If something goes wrong, contact us first and we will do our best to put it right. These terms are governed by the laws of the country where SimWindy is established, and disputes go to the courts there.
